Software Licence and Dashboard Access. The intuitive dashboard is the control centre for the system. A 2-year software licence comes standard with your unit so your system is ready to go from day one. The fully customisable Flysense dashboard allows for real-time sensor data reporting features, analytics, and trend data reports.

Sizing your area
Schools will generally budget for one vape detector per bathroom in the senior school and then add a second or third unit depending on how large the area is.
A guideline of 1 sensor for every 4 cubicles is standard. You would put 2 sensors in a bathroom that has 4 cubicles and a large washing basin area.
The sensor accommodates a 3.6m x 3.6m (12m²) area with a 2.4m to 3.6m ceiling, and sensitivity level can be matched accordingly.
We increase the sensitivity for a higher ceiling and decrease the sensitivity for a lower ceiling height.
Installation Power over Ethernet (POE) only
As all schools have unique installation requirements, your school will need to organise the installation of these vape detectors with your local trusted electrician.

The units will then need to be mounted to the ceiling of the toilets/changerooms/dorm rooms. The system is self-calibrating once connected to the online dashboard via your server.
Vape Detection Australia is not an installer of vape detectors; however, we will assist you in finding a suitable installer.
Security System Connectivity
We have a quick API integration with major NVR/VMS security systems like Avigilon, Axis, Genetec, Milestone, HIK Connect, NX Witness and others. API data sheet is available on request.

The Soter Flysense Vape Detectors have a unique tampering sensor which will audibly alarm (LOUDLY) and send an automatic alert to the monitors if a student or object gets within 30cm of the unit.
Estimated Delivery time
We do keep stock in Australia; however, please note that for large orders, the current delivery time is 10 to 20 days from us receiving the payment for your order.
We aim to fast-track orders whenever possible, but sometimes unforeseen delays occur.
We will advise you if there are delivery delays that will affect your order as soon as we are notified.
Local Freight Charges
Local freight is charged to the unit price and is applied at checkout. Estimated charges are AUD$15.00 ex gst per unit within Australia.
Deterrent Effect of Vape Detectors
With deterrent devices like these, it is best to strike a balance of units per cubic area and budget available.
Once the students know that there is a vape detector in the toilet and someone in their year group has been suspended for using a vape pen, they will generally move on from that area and find somewhere else to vape.

The FS300 Vape Detection System has a 5-year hardware return-to-base replacement warranty.
